HRM King Osman B. Ahmed Koita has crowned a new Queen and given her the title Fulbe Royal Title of Lamido Dibbo and the Hausa Royal Tittle of Sarauniya. She has been given the name Ameenata after the Hausa Warrior Queen Amina with a Sur Name of Koita which is the Clan name of the House of Fulbe, Ashanti Ghana.
HRH Queen Ameenata Koita of Fulbe is the first ever Sarauniya in the Kingdom and therefore this appointment is historical and extremely significant. It comes with a lot of responsibility. HRH Queen Ameenata shall help lead the Kingdom alongside HRM King Osman B. Ahmed Koita and she shall have her own office and staff to help with her new Royal duties as assigned by HRM.
She shall be in charge of Women’s Empowerment, Education, the UN SDG’s, any Diaspora Affairs, and she shall assist the Palace with development in the Kingdom. HRH Queen Ameenata brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Royal House of Fulbe as she holds a master’s degree in administration, several international certifications, and she owns 2 international businesses as well as a nonprofit in the United States of America. She is a certified human rights consultant, business consultant, women/girl child advocate, and a leader in her local community.
