HRM Queen Ameenata Koita of The Royal House of Fulbe, Ashanti, Ghana Appointed As Special Envoy to the State of Arizona by the African Diaspora Collective

HRM Queen Ameenata was appointed to the distinguished position of Special Envoy to the State of Arizona for the African Diaspora
Collective. The Special Envoy may make or initiate studies and reports
with respect to international economic, social, cultural, educational,
health, and related matters and may make recommendations with
respect to any such matters to the General Assembly to the Members of
the United Nations, and to the specialized agencies concerned. It may
make recommendations for the purpose of promoting respect for, and
observance of, human rights and fundamental freedoms for all. It may
prepare draft conventions for submission to the General Assembly, with respect to matters falling
within its competence. It may call, in accordance with the rules prescribed by the United Nations,
international Article 72 conferences on matters falling within its competence.

The Mission of the Ambassadors of the African Diaspora Collective is to unite African people in the African Diaspora for the development of Africa, in response to the UN Decade of People of African Descent, the priorities and goals of the AU Agenda 2063 and in response to the call for the activation of the 6th Region by the 2012 Amendment of the AU Constitutive Act creating the 6th Region of the African Union.
